Relief Report is a reading site. We built it to collect as little about you as possible.

What we do not collect

  • No cookies of our own. This site does not set cookies.
  • No forms or accounts. There is nowhere to type in your name, email address or any other personal detail, so we do not receive any.
  • No analytics or tracking. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or other tracking scripts on our pages.

Links to retailers, such as Amazon, take you to the retailer's own website. From that point their privacy policy and cookie rules apply, not ours.

Some of those links are affiliate links, and they may pass through a redirect on the way to the retailer. The retailer or the redirect service can use cookies to record that a purchase came from this site, which is how we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We do not see who you are or what you buy. Your browser settings let you block or clear these cookies.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as the page requested, the date and time, and the type of browser. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

The people behind our reviews

Our reviews draw on what our clients, verified buyers and members of our Facebook recovery-gear group reported.

Health information

We do not ask for health information. If you read about a condition on this site, it is general information about how products are used, not advice about your own health. See the medical note on our About page.

Changes

If we ever add comments, a newsletter, analytics or anything else that handles personal data, we will update this page first and explain what is collected and why.
